Sheet masking is one of my favorite step on my PM skincare routine. I just love the feeling of putting a sheet mask on my face before I call it a day. Extra special if my sheet mask gives off that cooling and beautiful effect on my face afterwards.
That's what I experienced from using Bano sheet masks. I availed their Injection sheet mask range and got all the varieties from an event last year and just used up all four recently and so I thought of reviewing each of them.
WHITE JADE - I first used this because of it's color. My fave color is blue so I'm attracted to it, even if it's just the packaging. Anyway, the mask adheres pretty well because it has a lot of essence and the fit was just perfect on the crevices of my face. It gave me a slightly brightened skin the next day.
WATER GLOW - My skin felt a little dry from all the hustle and bustle of wfh while managing a baby and a toddler, not to mention all the chores left in the house plus side hustling a part time job. Whew! Most of the time, I just want to doze off at the end of the day so I have been neglecting my skin and it got drier over time. I used Water Glow one night and it instantly gave my face that moisture I am looking for. I was surprised that the mask was black but regardless of the color, the fit and adherence was great. It doesn't have much essence compare to the former but I liked how brighter my skin looked the next day. It helped a lot on my dry skin.
ANTI-OXIDANT - This powerful mask delivers. I like how it made my face glow the next morning as if I drank a whole bottle of beauty capsule. Guess that's the power of antioxidant on the skin! Not too many essence though 'coz it started falling off a little after putting it on my face. So using this requires the need to lay down to take advantage of the essence.
BABY FACE - I was extra special when I used this because I used a roller whilst this sits on top of my face. Love the cooling feeling. The mask and essence was rich so not much leftover essence on the pack. The photo though shows it doesn't really adhere well so word of advice is to lay down while using it. It was struggle to take a photo of the mask while I'm standing because the jaw part keep on slipping off. After using a face roller for some few minutes, it managed to stick on pretty well. Among all the variants, this has the best effect. Hubby kept on telling me the next morning that I got smooth skin. I think he complimented me thrice. Though I have to say that I also used a new cream that night. That cream will be revealed on the next blog post.
All four has a mild to no scent fragrant so it's pretty tolerable if your scent-sitive. Each has different feel and effect so you might want to consider what fits for you and your skin. My fave is the white jade though. I think it fits all the criteria of what I'm looking for in a face mask. If only the latter has good fit, that will receive the first place.
That's it! For me, Bano masks are highly recommendable especially that I got this with a huge discount. I think I was able to bought this for around P50 only. You can get it at Lipztick Pls on Facebook or IG. Just send them a message.
For more sheet mask review, you can check my Instagram as I did several individual sheet masks reviews there. I stopped reviewing solo though and did something like this (group or the whole variant) because I still had a lot of mask to try plus I can't commit on posting often on the feed. Next time will be series of another batch of sheet masks. Anyone you would like me to review? Recommend them in the comment. :)
Stay Cute and Dainty!
