A new product from Althea recently made its way to the market and it's the Petal Velvet Powder. I am so happy when I received it and immediately used it fresh from the parcel.
Althea's Petal Velvet Powder is a translucent powder that sets makeup perfectly which leaves a smooth and silky finish. I tried it on the first day after receiving the parcel and it worked really fine for me. I like the smooth finish and the clean look. I also adore the very neat and pretty packaging in light pink but with minimalist approach on the design.
PACKAGING
As I have mentioned, the packaging is very simple and neat. It's minimalist with only the A print in front. Even the box is forward with the design. No English translations though.
FRAGRANCE
No strong odor. I can smell a very small hint of my baby's powder but lighter than it.
TEXTURE
It has super fine powder and leaves a smooth touch after applying. It is very lightweight like you won't feel you put anything on your skin.
PRICE
The market price was way cheaper than other powder. It retails for P210 only. You pay lesser than the effect of this as it really has a lot of advantages on the skin.
EFFECT
I have so many things to say on this one. It is super lightweight that you will like it on top of your skin. It really makes my makeup stay longer somehow. I also like how super fine the product is and how smooth my skin was after application. I also feel that it somehow makes my pores less visible.

Aside from all the things I've mentioned, this also controls sebum and it is made of natural ingredients. Oh, how I loved natural and cruelty-free products. Definitely something I would recommend.

Oh I like to try this. I am more on powder kasi I don't like the heavy feel on my face. Mabilis din mag-oily skin ko. I will check this out. Nice review by the way.

DeleteThe packaging is pretty I must say! It really does look lightweight which is what I love in the make up world... I don't like putting a lot of make up on and feeling it on my skin like a mask, so this is something I'd consider to use :)

DeleteI also have this! It's so cute and I use it as a primer or a setting powder to my makeup routine and it really blurs out my nose pores :) the sad thing for me here is the point that they only gace us 3g of product! :( #MedyoBitin hahahaha

DeleteNice product... I personally do not apply much powder in my face because for some reason.. i always find it very itchy but I guess it really depends on the person's skin.. mine apparently is quite sensitive to cosmetics
