Philtrade Exhibits together with SM City Pampanga launched Bridal Expo Filipino last April 1-3, 2016 at the said mall. Many exhibitors were gathered for this annual event to cater their services to soon-to-wed and party celebrators. Pampanga Bloggers were invited by Sir Igi Caluyo, the Events Producer of Philtrade Exhibits to witness the caterers presentation at the end of the third day.
A special area in the event center of SM was allocated for the food tasting of the different food providers present at the Expo. Each exhibitor made their exhibit spaces as creative as possible so clients can have an exact glimpse of what will be their banquet setup on their big day. It includes tablescapes, floral designs, choices of the state-of-the-art cutlery and meal designs.
I was so full that day and considering that I'm pregnant, it was a struggle yet a sweet gesture that I got to eat a lot of food from different caterers. Among them are Tio Julian's Entrante Catering, D'Sis Catering, Choco Berry Catering, ADM Asuncion de Grande Catering, Linelle's Catering, & King Jacob's Catering. Good thing I as pass my first trimester and my stomach's not acting up.
With a lot of different choices to choose from, I'm sure clients will be able to find a caterer to their own liking wherein they can also taste the food of all those present in the event.
Not only caterers were present in the exhibit but some cakes and pastries like Sweet Details, I Cakes and DDL also gave some samples to clients who visited their booth. They also provided some sweet treats to bloggers for us to taste as well.
Attending events like this is surely a big help to anyone who has a celebration in mind in the future. Having the option to explore different suppliers in one venue is surely a helpful thing. It saves you time, effort and money in looking for that perfect supplier on your dream party. I know because I used to attend to events like this when we were planning for our wedding.
I would like to extend our thanks to Sir Igi for inviting us to this event. Hopefully, a lot of doors will open to Pampanga bloggers in the future.
A beautiful set up may always look fantastic but when it comes to catering, it is always important to taste the food. It's a good thing to attend these kinds of expos. I hope you had a great time 😊
ReplyDeleteWe really had a great time. Thanks!
DeleteI heard somewhere that food and photography isn't something you should scrimp up on during weddings. This is a great opportunity to do sampling of food that guests will remember!
ReplyDeleteTrue. Same thing with my wedding because one, food is what people will remember when they eat and good food will always remind them of your big day and two, photography is what you will keep in years to come so might as well pick the best photographer you know. I kinda missed that one tho.
DeleteI agree with this. I'll probably skip over giving souvenirs and other expenses and focus on the food and photography in my own wedding in the distant future. :)
DeleteSeriously though, this event looks great. I can just imagine being overwhelmed with all these choices.
The food looks simply amazing! In my country, the wedding food is the best you can have, especially the appetizers. We love so much the traditional appetizers that we get out stomachs full and then skip the rest, until dessert.
ReplyDeleteOh, isn't it that there's always room for dessert. Don't miss that! Haha :)
DeleteOh my goodness- everything looks incredible!!! Love how fresh everything looks! Gorgeous photography!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deletewow it's nice to see that each catering offer their own style of presentation.. love all your photos and you just made me so hungry tonight.. I'm drooling right now haha
ReplyDeleteWe were the one who judged who's the best in presentation. It's hard. They're all good!
Deletewow.. that must be tough... i personally cannot pick just one haha.. but I think all of them did a great job!
DeleteChicharon for a wedding banquet? Now that's something new. Pwede rin, pica-pica, I guess.
ReplyDeleteUu nga eh, I was surprised. Perhaps it's something to try for a change.
DeleteI love love love weddings! And I love going to events like these too, I do hope more opportunities like this open for bloggers in your area too. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are slowly been recognized here which is good. I hope for more collaborations for bloggers here in the future.
DeleteExpos are really a big help for soon-to-wed peeps! I didn't know wedding expos have now started doing it on malls. I think it's a great idea that they started doing it in malls so as to reach more people, it is now easier for people to go to. Also, chicharon for wedding menu? Haha, now that's something new! I just might recommend having chicharon in the menu to my soon-to-be-wed friends! :) Nice photos you got here!
ReplyDeleteThank! Yep, here in Pampanga, most wedding expos I know were held at the mall. I think because it's easily accessible and people usually go to the mall so it's an easy place to be.
DeleteFood looks delicious and this is great specially for soon to be wed couples and wedding planner. Will inform my friends about this.
ReplyDeleteThis was already finished and this was based in Pampanga.
DeleteGreat photos! It's great that there have just been an explosion of expos in the past few years. Makes planning events so much easier!

ReplyDeleteFinish na po 'to
DeleteThe setup looks amazing and charming! The foods are certainly drool-worthy. *.* I'm glad there are expos like this to help couples with their wedding planning. :)

ReplyDeleteI think because it was designed to have a mood fit for weddings.
DeleteWow these pictures look great! Great ambiance. And very nice food (Lots of variety!). Lots of inspiration. Must be nice to see all the possibilities.
ReplyDeleteExpo like this is really helpful for those potential clients who would like to avail services from various service providers. Good thing that such has been in the practice for years already and that those who are looking for such service for a particular event will no longer have difficulties in searching on where to avail and where to find them.
ReplyDeleteTrue. This makes everything easy.
DeleteOh woooww, those pictures made me hungry! This is the best part of any event - the food! They all look so scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteThe best - best part is the eating part. Haha. We got to taste everything. If only I have more space in my tummy then. Haha
DeleteThe photos are lovely! Makes me want to try those dishes. ;) I love attending wedding fairs, even before I got engaged. hahaha I love anything related to weedings. I even started a blog about it. Here is the link to it: http://whenmybridegroomcomes.blogspot.com/
