If you're a reader of my blog, you're aware that I got a Pond's set as winnings few months ago from Miss Nicole's blog contest. I already gave some of it to my sisters and left this BB Cream for myself.
I'm currently using BB and CC creams from Tony Moly and I also have some deluxe samples like Big Easy from Benefit, LOreal among others. It's just recently that I used this brand and I can say that it's somehow okay.
I've been a Pond's baby since I was in high school. It's the first beauty brand that I love. My go to cleanser and cream will always be Pond's.
I don't know what happened to the camera that I used but I always see that my hands look old and dark. Haha. I think it's on the app I used for watermarking the photos. I don't really filter the photos much, I only put watermarks on it.
I'm having a bad hair day eh? No, it was just windy since I'm on the terrace and I managed to get this 'decent' photo, (yup, it's the most decent one from the series of shots I had). Notice my hair color? Hihi :)
It's so nice because it covers really well. I have some issues though with the texture. It's quite thick compared to the other BB Creams I've tried and it somehow has the tendency to cake when you're sweating. Not that it cakes obviously unlike other foundations. I guess you'll just have to put a little since the consistency was already thick enough. Try also to blend it with brush than with our trusty hands.
Now I have to use this more when class starts. I can use this and the one from Tony Moly alternately since they're both good products on my skin and I experienced no break outs.
What do you think of Pond's having their own BB set? Tell me what you think on the comments below.
Do you have other BB creams that you can recommend? Share your recos here. I want to try Revlon's version the next time. 'Till the next. XOXO ♥

I have not tried Pond's BB Cream but I like that this has SPF. I did notice the glowing, rosy white effect in the second photo. The BB Creams that I fell in love with are Missha's and Tony & Moly. I've tried others, but they didn't seem to work well for Asian skin and didn't blend well with the Naturactor Cover Face.
ReplyDeleteYes. I'm also used to in Etude and Tony Moly BB creams. I feel that those Korean brands are better but this is nice as well.
DeletePonds is a really product we grew up in and it's good they are now keeping up with the competition by offering makeup kind of products. I've seen this BB Cream through either AsNTM or ANTM and it looks so promising.
ReplyDeleteIs Pond's a sponsor on ANTM? Hmm, I really didn't know about that.
DeletePond's never fails to deliver quality products that's most suitable for Asian skin. Pond's name equates to beauty being affordable.
ReplyDeleteTrue! Imagine this BB cream is more than half less of those other brands.
DeleteTheresa, since you love doing beauty blog posts why not create a video tutorial for your readers? :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can. I need to learn video editing and the stuff that comes with it and I am not even videogenic. Haha. But thanks for the suggestion. :)
DeleteSef just proposed a great idea for your blog Theresa, i've read a few of your blog posts and i know a ton of people would really love it if you did vid tutorials (my girlfriend is a visual person, she'd love it if i recommended your posts to her).
ReplyDeleteNah! If I have more time in my hands than teaching, I would do that. But that would need a lot like a good camera and video editing tool. Guess I'll stick with writing for now. I'll try to do that in the future if I get the chance. :)
DeleteI have a small tube of this from my Aunt. It's itchy to her so hiningi ko na lang. I have an oily face kaya until now never ko pa natry mag BB cream. I wonder why I usually find an average review for this BB cream, as if it's not that good. Will find out someday...
ReplyDeleteIt's not that this is not really good but since I've used quite a lot of BBs already, I can compare those that I used previously to this and some of the former ones are better. This is quite thick kasi which I find quite hard to blend.
DeleteTo be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what BB creams are for and what their difference are with other creams. Although I do have this foundation + moisturizer thingy that I use as base when I go out and I have ponds miracle for the evening before I go to sleep. Is that the same?
ReplyDeleteIt's just almost the same why you use foundation. If what foundation does is to cover dark spots, blemishes and the like, that's also what BB creams are for. Plus it has moisturizer and SPF provided in one bottle. Some has whitening and some hasn't.
DeleteThis is the BB Cream that I use because my skin loves it.
ReplyDeleteIt really depends on the skin if your 'hiyang' in it or not.
DeleteIt really clears up your skin. This BB cream is really effective.
ReplyDeleteFor cover ups, yes, it is effective but not the swatch that i like. It's too thick. :(
DeleteVery useful, thanks for sharing this your EXP with this amazing product :)
ReplyDeleteDid you find it useful for you too? :)
DeleteIt cakes for me too. My sister told me Tony Moly is way better but more expensive, right?
ReplyDeleteYup! I'm currently using Tony Moly. I also use this as an alternative to Tony Moly but not often because it's just too thick for me. Feels heavy on the face.
