One of my treasures are cosmetics hidden on the shelves that I haven't even used yet. A part of that treasure was this Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick. Got this from the fair when I won at the BDJ Hunt last year. I got a pretty nice loot bag with so many prizes inside, this included. Now, it's time to experience it!
This is my first Color Sensational from Maybelline and I actually love this line because it looks very sophisticated with their red cover. This kind of pink also is my first from all my lipstick and I love the youth and fresh feel it gives.
I got the "Make Me Pink-135" from the Color Sensational collection. It's pink color has a little resemblance on the family of violet hues, making it light purplish after application.
It looked matte for me at first try. I actually thought that I applied it thinly because the lines on my lips were still visible and I feel that I haven't fully covered it. I guess it's because it's really light. Even if it's like that, it is very pigmented.

- I think the color was too light for me, but since I don't have much pink lipsticks, this is already okay.

What can you say with the color? I guess it's a little bit boring if you're on the adventurous side but this would really go well during casual days. I can use this daily when classes resume since it's light and not attention-grabbing at all.
I would love to try the other colors on the Color Sensational line of Maybelline. Perhaps if given the chance to review those, I would love to do so. I might purchase some as well. We'll see.

ReplyDeleteThere are different shades of pinks naman on lipsticks. You just have to pick what you think would suit you the best. Don't afraid to swatch colors.

DeleteI have a few Maybelline lipsticks too which I got last Christmas when I was buying presents for colleagues. I tried one and tried another because I was so happy with the range of colors + like what you said, their lipsticks are creamy. I'm more of a red- nude- and peach-lipstick colored girl but I'll definitely check the pink shades next time.

DeleteThese are the shades I truly love. Most of my lipsticks (maybelline,too) are those colors, only one red, though. Lipsticks and mascara are the makeups I would always buy, even though, i wouldn't use it! hehehe :)

DeleteI love pink tones in lip sticks. I usually get the medium tones though because the light ones don't look good on me while the darker ones look too intense for my taste.
