Finally, I got another Manicure Monday post and this time it is a nail art which I prepared with utmost focus, concentration and dedication. Haha. I wanted to do gradient nails for the longest time ever but didn't had the chance to. Now, I gathered out all these polishes and started mixing.
I tried researching how to do gradient nails the easy way and it's through sponge. I secured a little piece of our sponge and used it for this tutorial. I pulled out rainbow colors and I only got of them. I guess the maximum color to use is 5 if you really want to see all of the colors properly. I got 6 and the colors are a bit messy everywhere. Some had the purple part and others hasn't.
This is the sponge I used and all you need to do is to paint the sponge with your desired color. You can overlap some of the colors like what I did. The color will show once you transferred it on the nails. You need to tap the sponge on the nails several times until you get the color that you want.
I know the colors are a bit too much since I don't know what best color will go with what color. I'll try to do the pastel version of gradient or I'll try one family color. I'll update you more on that.
I did this for around 30-mins to 1 hour since I am still learning. I bet the pros can do this for less than 20 mins. I got excited finishing this piece and I wanted to create more gradient. I'm happy that I learned another thing in my life. Haha. That is to create gradient nails.
What's your take on my art? Would love to hear and read your thoughts here. Comment away!
With all the love. XOXO ♥
I like diy facial mask and now using facial mask with oatmeal, egg and apple. The recipe is very easy and effective. Ingredients: Apple, Egg Yolk, Oatmeal. Blend these 3 ingredients well. Spread the mixture all over your face. Let the mixture stay for about 20-30 minutes. Rinse it off with pure water. You can try this recipe.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure how your comment is relevant to the post but I appreciate it. Yep, I would love to do DIY on skin care too. Perhaps soon! :)
DeleteThis is so nice. I think you did a great job with it. I really like what you did - it gives this cheerful vibe and it makes me think of reggae. I wish I had the patience to work on my nails just like what you did.
ReplyDeleteYup. One day I was free from schedule so I did this. Patience really is needed in ail arts like this.
DeleteThat's very cool. Minsan, I like to experiment too on my nail color. Try ko yan minsan.
ReplyDeleteI'll experiment another design later for next week's feature. While I'm on vacation, I'm doing nail arts 'cause by the start of the school year, I'll be busy again and no time for long procedures like this.
Deletethat looks cool! i miss doing nail art! i love the colors very summery effect;)
ReplyDeleteI actually followed the rainbow colors but I think it only fits 4-5 colors on my nails 'cause it's really short.
DeleteBeing a beauty blogger, what Ilike about you guys is your creativity and patience of perfecting nail colors like this. Ang hirap kaya gawin ito for almost an hour ah. Kudos to that!
ReplyDeleteYup! That's why it's also hard for me to create nail art when I'm busy. I'm using the remaining time while it's vacation 'cause once school year starts, busy na. haha
DeleteThis definitely makes a rainbow of colors. Nice nail polish.
ReplyDeleteYep. I followed that format. :)
Deletegreat art work you did on your nails. I can see also the texture because you were using sponge.
ReplyDeleteYup! At first, I thought it's a problem but it looked good so I left it like that.
DeleteI haven't tried gradient on my nails but soon, hope I will. The colors you mix are good and very colorful. My suggestion is try mixing just two colors or research whats the best colors that are complimentary to each other.
ReplyDeleteMost reviews have 3 and more. Two colors would look bitin for me.
DeleteHow I wish I know how to do my own nails! I love the result of your manicure!
ReplyDeleteI like it too. I actually want to try it with pastel colors.
Deletewell, is this the colors day :)
