Review: Etude House Dear Girls, Be Clear Moisturizer

I had a blast when I hauled from Etude House year-ender sale last December. Got a few lovely stuff and one of them was this moisturizer I am currently using. Meet Dear Girls, Be Clear Moisturizer.


When I first had a glance of this baby from the shelf, I know I had to take it home with me. I finally succumb to the temptation. With it's oh-so-cute-and-dainty packaging, who would think twice getting it.


You know I love pumps! Did I tell you that I love pumps? ^_^ Pumps never fails to get my interest so I guess a huge factor on purchasing this was because of it's container. However, the hangul (even if I can read a little Korean) was a big headache for me. I can't comprehend, I can only read. Oh gosh, help me. Please translate what's written below.


Good thing that the other side have instructions to serve their international customers. Good thing they provided a little consideration. :)


The moisturizer's texture is in a milky-white form. It's soft and smooth though it's not superbly creamy like hand cream. It smells so nice for me. It's also light on the face that you can even use it under BB cream and wouldn't feel heavy afterwards.

  • I feel like it's not giving an intense moisture compared to oils and the like. Though the latter is greasy than the former. I hope they can intensify the moisture more.

For now, I am sticking with this as my day moisturizer. However, I am still on the lookout for that one holy grail that my skin needs. Any recos?

      This was last year. It's a nationwide sale pa naman. I bet they'll have a sale soon so let's watch out for that. :)

    awww! too bad it wasn't very moisturizing! I also love how it's a pump--that makes things so much more convenient and less messy!

    Have you noticed any whitening properties?

      Whitening effect were not really evident! The moment you apply it, it will obviously make the skin whiter but not really to the extent that it makes the skin whiter.

    I'm not that adventurous when it comes to beauty products. I just use whatever works for me for a long time. I wish, sometimes, that I am a little adventurous like you. :)

    I'm lazy to put moisturizer on my face, but right now I'm using Physiogel cream, pagsinipag ko maglagay. :)

    So cute naman the box! I would definitely buy it, just based on the packaging. Haha! I hope Human Nature will come out with moisturizer that had SPF. I'm using HN day moisturizer then I add in their sun block.

      Yep. They don't have SPF on their moisturizer noh. Hope they'll have one that has sun protection. Love HN lip balms though.

    It's a pity that it doesn't work out for you. I'm currently using Olay and it's also pump.. Not too $$ also. Maybe it's something that you can consider.

      It's not that it didn't work out on me. There are just things I want that is not there. Still on the lookout but as of now, I'll stick with this as my day moisturizer.

    Hi! Hope this isn't a duplicate message :)

    The packaging at Etude House certainly appeals to a younger girly crowd. As for me, I am using Human Nature and have no plans to switch soon.

    I'm not using anything on my face except soap and water. I used to put moisturizing lotion when I was in KSA because the weather really dries my skin. But since it's humid here, I have not used any.

    Confession, apart from facial wash, pressed powder and lipstick, I do not know a lot of beauty products. I have been to Etude House stores a lot of times though. It makes me feel like jumping inside a nicely drawn cartoon. :)

      You may want to try it and it might work on you. You should always try products that you think will suit your skin best.

      This one is on sale. They're just in the middle range I guess compared to Western high end brands.
