Review: Pixy UV Whitening Two-Way Cake (Yellow Ochre)

I ran out of my foundation a couple of weeks ago and I am back to the loose powder program since I do not have time to sneak on my busy schedule and buy a foundation. Online shopping would also take my time in paying and lining in bank counters since I ran out of Paypal credits as well. Good thing I rummaged on my beauty boxes and found out I have a spare of foundation refill from Pixy. Just when I need it! ^_^

It's very similar to the foundation from Pixy I reviewed months ago which you can read here. It was in Ivory shade and this one is in Yellow Ochre. I received both items from my April BDJ Box.

UV Whitening Two-Way Cake Perfect Matte Refill
This lightweight powder refill is clinically tested to not trigger blackheads and is enriched with natural extracts and antibacterial kenzo, making it suitable for oily skin. Feel free to swap it inside the Perfect Fit compact.

I thought that the Ivory shade would suit me better because it is lighter than this Yello Ochre. I came to find out that after trying this foundati, this is the shade closer to my skin tone.

See! Looks like I have met my soul mate when it comes to foundation. I haven't tried local brands just yet so we'll see about that because after this piece, I would need to get another one. If only Pixy has a branch in the province, it would be less hassle for us who'd like to purchase their products. Calling Pixy manager there! ♥

Of course, I used the same container from my first review here since this one is a refill only.

Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
  • Oil-free and non-comedegenic
  • Lightweight
  • Cover skin imperfections
  • Anti-bacterial to prevent acne-causing bacteria.
  • It's SPF 15. It has sunscreen protection.
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
  • Not easily available.

Bought from: Free from April BDJ Box/Pixy Philippines
Size:  12 g.

I will try to capture the product on use. I just got a lot of things going on with the camera right now and it's not functioning well when it comes to face shots. I hope I'll have it fix by tomorrow.

Until then. Xoxo ♥

  1. Isn't Pixy a Japanese makeup brand? Good thing you found one from your stash. It saves both time, effort and cash in buying a new one. :)
