Experience The Balloon Festival!

The much-awaited Philippine International Balloon Festival is happening now from April 10 until April 13 (Thu-Sun). Unlike the yearly event that was held in Clark, this year's Balloon Festival will be held at Brgy. Prado Sionco at Lubao, Pampanga. Catch the balloon as it flies daily on these dates, flights are at 5AM, and night glow at 6PM.

My heart is still battling if I will go or not. I don't own a car so it would be difficult for me to go to the place since it's very far. It's almost Pampanga-Bataan boundary and access to transportation would be very difficult. I think I need to reconsider car loans soon? Hmmm.. 

Are you watching the festival? Comment away so I can go with you. Haha. I want to think that I can watch the event so I'm being positive on this! I'm claiming it!

    That would be a great experience to watch it.. Those ginormous balloons are so cool plus with a cartoon character on it awesome.

    I dream about watching this event. Sayang super layo, ang expensive ng pamasahe plus the toll fee. :( But this event is really great as I've watched in youtube and fb.

    Since we live far away, I am not expecting to go there...But deep inside, I really do wish I could experience this at least once in my lifetime!

    We should really have these kinds of events on our calendar perhaps for next year. It looks really fun and would be awesome for the kids to watch.

    I read from somewhere that this event almost got cancelled. I attended this event years ago with my friends but not the one held during the day, we just watched the night show with paragliding exhibition for free because were outside the event area and watching from a distance.

    Maybe you can rent a car if you really want to go and if getting transportation is a hassle. That way your whole family can enjoy also.

      Perhaps you are referring to the one held in Clark. The one who organize the event there is different from this one. I know they got issues with sky traffic that's why they changed the venue but I feel there's a deeper issue in that. Hihi.

      I already went there earlier sis. Long story. I'll blog about it later or maybe tomorrow.

    Alam mo sis lagi namin pinag-uusapan ni Daddy A itong hot air balloon festival na ito. Pero lagi kami di natutuloy. For sure thei weekend di pa din kami makapunta. Hopefully next year, we'll see you there.

      Haven't tried the site yet. I haven't read through it yet but I think, you need to have a stable connection. I was planning to do in on a laptop pa naman. :(
