I lost control of myself and just surfed all night and forgot that I will blog backlogs or make my exams for next week! Oh why do I always love cramming! Haha.
Anyway, here's another set of review for you guys. Remember my collective haul last time here? I bought some cosmetics at Dress Icon, an online retail store that sells cosmetics and other girl stuff. See my other post where I bought the Innisfree Brightening Peeling Gel? I feel like I am deceived. Here's why.
Perhaps it's the impulsive side of me that motivated me to buy this. Why? I never thought (and never asked) that it would be only this size!
I am most curious about Korean skincare products and every time I will got the chance to try and use it, I would. Since Dress Icon offers authentic US products for an affordable price, I assumed that this one is a steal but I was wrong. A 15ml is just a sample size and it cost me P99.00! It can be included on your haul when you purchase in Korea beauty stores. My sister just received a skincare of 15ml as a freebie when she bought cosmetics at Etude House in SoKor. That's why I was a bit disappointed as how this happened. I can't blame anyone. I didn't asked! Photos can just be really deceiving.
So for the review, I tried the product and yes, it is indeed a peeling gel that claims to give brightening effect after use. At first, I was really not convince to use it in the face so I ended up using it on my neck and other rough areas like my elbows and knees.
I am still battling if I'll use the remaining content on my face or not. It really doesn't have any visible effect as of now since the product is of little amount but hey, my skin has brightened up after using the gel.
The photo above is just to give you an idea of what peeling gel does. I think I'll just focus on using this on my neck, elbows and knees since there's few amount left in the mini tube. If this was only in full-sized, then I think it will do wonders of brightening the face.
Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
- The concept of peeling to brighten is good for me.
- Easy to apply.
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
- You'll see the dirt on the skin.
- Expensive for a P99.00 knowing that it's just a sample.
Price: P99.00
Bought from: Dress Icon
Size: 15 ml
Have you tried the same product? Any reviews? Post it down below and I would glad to read them. :)
'Till the next. xoxo ♥
Ohh! I love using peeling gel, kasi feeling ko naputi ako at natatanggal yung mga ead skin cells. Haha. The one that I am using is from an online shop and it does wonders on my skin! Kaso tagal ko ng di nagagamit kasi super busy sa school works. :/
ReplyDeleteBut this one is really good, kasi makikita sa review mo, kaso ang pricey nga lang. But, it worth every penny spent I think sis. :)
Will find this soon and check it out. Thank yo for sharing this to us!! <3
I want to use other products than this. I already used it all and can't find any effect.
DeleteHaha yes too expensive for its size! Nevertheless, I think it worked naman, so maybe it's still a good buy?
ReplyDeleteQuite expensive for a sample. Used it all and yet no effect at all. :(
Deleteconsidering the size, very expensive nga.. I'm not really a fan of Korean product though I tried a cologne and nail polish of Etude House. hehe
ReplyDeleteI am more into Korean cosmetics than Western.
DeleteAng liit nga. I remember there's a product I have tried that ahs the same peeling effect. That was years ago. Medyo nagkasting ako sa face kaya I never tried it again.

This one doesn't stig naman. Perhaps the one you used has a alcohol content.
DeleteMy mommy will love this product. She uses a different brand only for her knees and feet; she loves to wear sandals and feels that it's darker than the rest of her skin.
ReplyDeleteSame spot. I am using this on knees and feet and elbows but there's no effect. :(
DeleteHi Tet! Try Cure. It's a lot to manage at Php 1500 but it's 250 ml naman. It's very mild but gets the job done, so you can use it on your face na :P
ReplyDeleteDoes it really lighten dark spots like elbows and knees?
DeleteSometimes there are fine prints din ata sa online selling that we must read, otherwise, we might be deceived since we do not see the product personally. Sometimes din sa pagkuha nila ng pictures for advertisement, akala mo big size, yun pala liit lang. lugi ka nga sa 15ml for 99Ph, pero like what everyone said, looks like it's effective naman. :-)
ReplyDeletethere's no details on it except for the price and the name.
DeletePics can really be deceiving...hehe! I haven't tried this one yet but I have read good reviews of Innisfree products. Para din syang Cure Natural Aqua Gel nuh? Yun palang na-try ko na may same effect. :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried that one though.
Deletewaaahhhh,. ang mahal naman,. gustuhin ko man magtry kaya lang nakapanghinayang,.
ReplyDeletethanks for the review,.
you're welcome. :)
