It's been a tough week for me since my students just finished their quarterly exams. I became busy in computing grades of seven sections. Yes! Of all teachers in our school, I'm the single teacher who's overload. Now I don't have extra time to blog. :(
However, I got some few time tonight since I purposely left my books and notes in the school. This is to give way on some of my draft. Let's start with another review. Again! :)
I've been using this product long time ago but got no time to blog about it. It's only this week that I decided to include it on my reviews. It's the Moringa-O Malunggay Herbal Facial Toner which I got from Sample Room before.
I'm not really a fan of toners since I focus more on cleansing and moisturizing but since I've discovered from a beauty vlogger that we need to cleanse, tone and moisturize our skin, I tried to include the toning part somehow.
What I love about this toner is that it's alcohol-free and it's anti-aging. Plus it's herbal. The smell was very nice too! It smells like my favorite perfume - the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea.
The only downside I should say is that it somehow has a stingy effect especially if you are toning around the eye area.
I am using a cotton pad and not a cotton ball on the photo above so the green color wasn't that obvious. It's also thin that it kinda looks like dirty already.
Photo below is the cotton pad I used after I cleanse my face right after washing. It really cleanses the face while moisturizing it. I didn't felt any dryness after toning unlike other market brands. For me it's a yay! :)
Yay for me! (。◕‿◕。)
- Smells nice
- Cleanse well
- Alcohol-free
- It's herbal
- It's anti-bacterial and anti-acne
- Affordable
Nay! (。◕︵◕。)
- A little sting especially around the eye area. (Just try to avoid that part.)
Price: Free
Bought from: Sample Room (Paid shipping fee for P130.00)
Size: 100 ml.
I will repurchase if I will see this in beauty stores. I love the smell especially. The cleansing part may not be perfect hundred but I still would recommend it to friends to try.
Are you using toner? What brand? Share your toning stories here. :)
Xoxo ♥
my youngest sister is also a teacher.. sa sobrang loaded nya ng student e hindi sya nakapagfocus sa pagrereview sa board kaya sad to say di sya nakapasa =( though im hoping na she'll try to retake kasi medyo na-upset sya =) i love your reviews and you're included on my 2013 new blog to read =)
ReplyDeletehave a great day ahead!
thanks!
Deleteit's sad that teachers nowadays are really needed. You can recommend to your sis to try reviewing at PNU. Mura lang dun. :)
Oh, I got one from Sample Room, too and did a review about it in my blog also. First that I loved about it is the scent. Parang green tea. Feels fresh, noh? I haven't finished my bottle though. Minsan kasi nakakalimutan ko magtoner, haha! :-)
ReplyDeleteYup. Smells like elizabeth arden green tea.
DeleteI still have the HN Balancing Toner, I think I'll get this one when I hit the supermarket and try. thanks for the review.. :-)
ReplyDeleteMommy and I (believe it or not I am using this too) used this toner for months na. Until last month, Mommy decided to try the other toner but with the same manufacturer. She asked me to used it din but I refused and insist Moringa O2 pa din...As for me naman, I haven't experience sting even around the eye area.
ReplyDeleteIs this the only item included in the 130 shipping? Kung ito lang lugi ka kasi less than hundred lang ito sa mga grocery.
ReplyDeleteI also like this toner, no sting even if I use it day and night. Love also the smell.
i've always used astringents and toners since hs but never around the eyes coz they're too delicate- don't want lines there! wanna try that malunggay one -pisceanrat
ReplyDeleteGreat review, never used toner before kakaloka na ito parang ako lang yata ang hindi gumagamit na kong ano sa face. I'm gonna find something here soon. as in soon talaga hehehe:) Thanks for the review.

I'm not particular about the toner although I have used one before that's made in Korea but I'm a great fan of Eskinol kasi. Haha
ReplyDeleteI sometimes forget the toner in by nightly regimen but I know it is important. For sometime, I've been using Celeteque and Human Nature. Both dont sting!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I like the Moringa-O product line especially the lotion and the soap I also received from Sample Room.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this if ever. been looking for a toner that is not harmful or harsh to my skin since I have sensitive skin. Thanks for blogging about this :)
ReplyDeleteI love this. Though I try another toner from Ardent too. Manipis kasi skin natin malapit sa eye area so possible na magkasting on that part. I try to be religious when it comes to my day and night beauty regimen. I can see the good results naman. Wag lang talaga tamarin, haha.

I am not into commercial beauty product because of the harsh elements. I also do not use any moisturizer or toners but I will definitely try this one, for a change and as you said it smells good. :)
ReplyDeleteI often use toners but this is great and at the same time it is herbal :)
ReplyDeleteI have heard of great reviews about moringa-o products especially their oil. I want to try it since I love to try organic products like this. Maybe I will look for this toner if I drop by at a pharmacy or department stores. In the meantime, I am using a rice toner, which is suitable for my skin.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently using this product, too. The green tea scent is really good and refreshing. I'm loving this product because it removes stubborn dirt on skin. Btw, have you tried their lotion? That one also smells like green tea.
ReplyDeleteYes I also have that, and because of the scent my sister love, she asked me to have it. I can't say no. Haha.. :)
DeleteI appreciated your work very thanks Herbal Supplement
