When it comes to hair-removal, waxing is not my best bet at first. I started off by plucking or shaving. Throughout the years, my mind was saying that it's the best solution to remove those unwanted and stubborn hairs. Until I found out Strip It.
I tell you, Strip It is the BEST ready-to-use hair removal cold wax. It is made out of
sugar and honey, aka sugaring (Persian waxing in ancient times). Since
it is all natural, it is safe to use on the entire body even on sensitive skin. It is also completely water-soluble so you won’t be feeling sticky afterward.
I got the whole tub for P200 |
The use of "Strip it" cold wax is
so simple since no heating is required. It adheres tightly to the hair but not the skin, as ordinary wax
does, there is less pain & discomfort than with other waxes.
With Strip It, you can save money because you don't have to go to an expensive salon to have your hair removed. You can use Strip It at the comfort of your own home and it's very easy to clean.
I received my Strip It last Friday and immediately used it yesterday. Though the packaging is not complete, (the applicator is not included) I still got to use it because I have my own applicator. When I texted Miss Arlette, she replied that they will send the applicator separately and apologized for what happened. Talking about alert, good and responsive customer service. ^__^
NOTE: The photo may contain some scene that are not suitable to the eye.
Eeeeeekk!!! Despite of that gross photo, you know very well that it pulls off the hair from the roots. Very effective it is! ^__^

I tried using this, but not much hair came off. :( And right after using it, my preschooler brother knocked all of the contents out of the tub. Tragic, indeed.
ReplyDeletei haven't tried this but i have been thinking of getting a tub at sesou in trinoma. i used to go to Lay Bare kasi for waxing, so i was thinking baka mas makamura if i try Strip It. :-)
ReplyDeletei haven't tried waxing yet, i am considering trying it soon for the unwated hair in my armpit
ReplyDeleteI do plucking and shaving as well. Takot ako sa waxing e. If that doesn't hurt much then maybe I can try it too. Can you share where to buy and how much? Hehe.. Thanks :)

DeleteI haven't tried it yet. Can we use this in the underarm, too? :D
ReplyDeleteI'm actually using it in my underarms. :)
DeleteI was also hesitant to try waxing because I'm afraid my skin might come off. Is it okay to use this for the underarms?
ReplyDeleteYep sis. I only use this actually on that area. :)
DeleteWill check this out. I use Epilin and it is a hot wax and very effective.
ReplyDeleteI tried waxing twice. It was not painful for me. Maybe, I will try this to save money. :)
ReplyDeleteHow many weeks does the hair grows back?
3 weeks sis. Very minimal pa.. This will really save you a lot! :)
DeleteI used to pull my UA hair by tweezers before, but early last year, me and my SIL accidentally found a wax. We thought it was a paste. That's what she was using before. Then we tried it and success! It really did pulled off from the roots itself. It hurts for the first time talaga but it's all worth it. And it lessens the chicken skin as well. The downside lang talaga pag waxing, you have to wait until the hair is long na noh? hahaha!
ReplyDeleteYep. Haha. But it doesn't bother me that much. Haha. :)
DeleteI am scared of waxing. I use depilatory cream kasi takot ako sa pain haha
ReplyDeletenow that you mentioned it and made a review of it, i'm curious to try. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I'm considering waxing actually, pero takot ako, so this looks like a good alternative. Hindi masakit? Where did you buy it?
ReplyDeleteSa una lang sis, but you'll get used to it. Nakakakiliti na lang after. :)
DeleteHahaha... I remember when my wife was given a GC from strip it was a gift certificate for hair removal and take note "brazilian" Hahaha. Though she got the GC she didn't tried experiencing it.
ReplyDeleteWhy not? Sometimes, a little courage can go a long way. hihi
DeleteI havent tried the sugaring type. as long as it is less painful ...it is time to take a second look on waxing again.
ReplyDeleteYes it is less painful since it's made of sugar. Easy to clean pa.
Deletehmmm.. effective ba sa underarm? I want to try it too..
ReplyDeleteYes sis. Very effective.
DeleteHindi ba masakit? hehehe. I think we can make our own wax from honey..kaso medyo mahal yata ang honey. hehehe
ReplyDeleteOo nga Daddy Allan. This will save us more than buying honey.
Deletei tried to do my own waxing before and was traumatized that's why i usually go to my preferred salon to do my waxing.
ReplyDeletewhy are you traumatized? what happened?
Deletewaahh.. i've heard that product before but i haven't tried it yet.. hehe it looks like effective :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is sis. :)
DeleteI'm scared to wax my own legs pero ngayon na nakita ko 'to, siguro it's time I do it on my own. I love this! And I would try this! Thank you for making me more courageous hihi
ReplyDeleteI don't use it on my legs though. I used it in my underarms. :)
DeleteI always use Veet when waxing my legs. But I've seen Strip It featured on TV, I want to try it and I'm afraid I won't do it properly since I'll b the one to put the wax.
