Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Mine's a little busy because I attended several stuff. First, about school. If you're a reader of my blog, I have mentioned that I will be teaching in the public school starting this term. Nervous and excited at the same time. Second, I will be a poll watcher on the upcoming election here in our place so I attended some serious seminar about what our rights and obligations are. Agenda for tomorrow is checking on the PCOS machine. Third, it's our fiesta today and since we did not celebrate, I kept myself busy by being with Jaycee almost the whole day. There's a call that anytime, he might be deployed to anywhere in the country because it's election time and I feel that I need to spend more time with him while he is still beside me.
Anyway, after that long intro of how my weekend was, I decided to lighten up my mind and body a bit so I decided to polish my nails once again. Surely this is an advance Manicure Monday for you guys and gals.
I got the chance to receive the limited Edition Pirates of the Caribbean OPI Mini Nail Polish Collection before and that was like a year ago. I wanted something purplish and light today so I checked our polishes and saw that my Planks-A-Lot still has something left. What's so nice about OPI polishes is that you can really make use of it until the last drop.
I love OPI to bits and there's no doubt about that but purchasing one is quite a bit pricey for me so I don't usually buy OPI stuff. I actually got this for free before and I'm very fortunate to experience it. Since I'm a little hurry on putting it on, it didn't polish really well. I think my skills are fading (as if I have the skill). :p
Even if it looks messy in the picture, I still love the shade. I'm loving pastels lately and you will see it on my next post. Since Jaycee and I went to the mall earlier, I had a nail polish haul including some toiletries. Will try to post it tomorrow. ^_^
How do you find this shade? What's your nail polish right now? :)
that's nice! I like it.
ReplyDeletethanks :)
DeleteI like the color. I really admire girls who always find some vanity time.
ReplyDeletei have a few spare time for this. ^o^
DeleteI love that color, although I must admit I am partial to purples. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you will be teaching in a public school. We need good teachers. Thanks in behalf of your countrymen :)
I like the color too!
Deletethanks sis. :) It's good to serve the nation. ^_^
like the color, too. pastel and summer! nice and pretty! i am actually planning on putting on nail polish too this saturday. I don't put nail polish on my fingernails but I might this weekend. We'll see. I actually has on right now, practice lang. Hihi! :-)
ReplyDeleteI started not putting on nail polish too. I think I'm already 20 when I finally had to experience it myself. haha. Practice lang sis. :)
Deletei also love OPI, it's my choice when I am doing my nails in my favorite salon, it a bit pricey like you said buy worth the price

DeleteI love pastels but they just don't look well on my nails. I often just stick to hues of red. And, yes I agree with you, OPI nail polishes are great!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on you election duties. That is quite a responsibility.
ReplyDeleteYou're quite busy for upcoming elections pala, good luck! I love your nail color, so CUTE! I love purple as well.:)
